2022 Kickoff Invite

Join the Tallahassee Regional Planning Committee and FIRST Robotics Competition teams from all around North Florida to watch history being made as we kick off RAPID REACT, the newest season of the FIRST Robotics Competition on Saturday January 8th from 9:30am to noon.

Kickoff sets into motion the 2022 FIRST Robotics Competition season, RAPID REACT presented by The Boeing Company. FIRST favorites from around the world, Founder Dean Kamen, new CEO Chris Moore, and special guests will be joining the livestream from New Hampshire to reveal the RAPID REACT game animation and other game and season details.

The kickoff is in partnership with the FAMU-FSU College of Engineering and will be held in the Materials Research Building at 2005 Levy Ave. on FSU’s campus on Jan 8th starting at 9:30am.

The Inaugural FIRST Tallahassee Regional is March 17th-19th at the Alfred Lawson Jr. Multipurpose Center on Florida A&M’s campus, the first of its kind in North Florida or at a Historically Black College or University. We are excited to move FIRST Forward!
